Oooh. Yesterday I discovered that you can use DDC/CI to tell a monitor which input to select. Utilities installed on macOS and Linux boxes, now to find one for Windows that works. (Dell Display Manager tries to be a bit too clever at input switching, and fails.)
Finally got my M1 Mac (16GB RAM, 512GB SSD). It is very much a delight to use. Battery life is extremely good, keyboard is excellent. I’m very happy I chose this over a Dell XPS 15. It’s cheaper than the Dell too. With my external 27 inch monitor it’s a productivity powerhouse.
Okay, wtf did I do with my headphone extension cord... I want to be able to lean back in my chair already. Also nice would be having the huge old Dell Precision T5500 stuck in the spot for it instead of right smack dab in the middle of the top by the monitor... :P
If you have installed Dell Command | Monitor on your clients, then you can make a collection with clients where Dell ProSupport is expired. In our enviroment we all have extended ProSupport, which means that we have multiple WarrantyDuration. Thats why i use 426 at the end
